The Office of Outreach at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Director I to join our team. The position directs a broad range of college access, encouragement and recruitment services that enhance UNT's institutional reputation and promotes university - community engagement and scholarship, including the introduction of the University brand to regional communities with large, underserved populations and the cultivation and education of students, parents, families, civic and business leaders regarding UNT'S enrollment process, financial aid availability, and scholarship resources. The outcomes of the Office of Outreach directly influence the quantity, quality, and diversity of UNT's entering freshman class. Position oversees full time staff, Graduate Services Assistants, and student workers Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:*Directing the strategic and operational activities of a department or center *Formulation and approval of departmental goals; policy development and approval; staff supervision; and budget development and allocation*Position has authority and autonomy to make significant choices and decisions without specific guidance or direction *Conducts short and long-term planning to anticipate and solve a wide range of complex multi-disciplinary matters. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and six years of closely related professional experience.
