University of North Texas - Program/Project Coordinator III

The UNT TRIO Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Program/Project Coordinator III (Director of Student Support Services) to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Provides strategic oversight, budget development and allocation, and supervisory oversight for all programs and services designed to meet the grant objectives of the Student Support Services grant.* Ensures that all grant objectives are met and accurately reported. Objectives include: (1) 87% of all participants served by the SSS project will persist from one academic year to the beginning of the next academic year or graduate and/or transfer from a 2-year to a 4-year institution during the academic year, (2) 90% of all enrolled participants served by the SSS project will meet the performance level required to stay in good academic standing at the grantee institution, and (3) 57% of new participants served each year will graduate within six (6) years. * Oversees participant data management, ensures accurate reporting of data, and is responsible for the submission of annual reports to the Department of Education.* Provides direct supervision to 2.5 SSS coordinators and 1 administrative coordinator and indirectly to an additional to 10-15 student employees.* Establishes and manages departmental strategic and assessment plan, including the development of expected and learning outcomes.* Develops and sustains cooperative relationships with academic departments, faculty members, Student Affairs, and other university departments and Divisions to ensure a comprehensive and integrated delivery of services to SSS participants.* Ensures department's compliance with state and federal regulations regarding payment card compliance (PCI).The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in related field and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
