The Office of Outreach at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Recruiting Specialist I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:* Welcome visitors to the Mexican Consulate in Dallas on behalf of the Ventanilla de Educacion, and guide, advise and direct them to educational opportunities for them and their families in North Texas.* Establish and Maintain links with organizations in North Texas to involve them in activities of the "Ventanilla de Educacion" Organize and implement educational activities for the Ventanilla de Educacion.* Provide support in the organization and implementation of meetings and activities of the External Boards of Advisors.* Prepare monthly calendar or activities and provide monthly and quarterly reports of activities and details of results of such activities.* Assist Office of Outreach with recruitment and outreach initiatives throughout the DFW Metroplex.* Ability to speak, write and communicate fluently in Spanish.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience in recruiting, academic advising, counseling, student services, or related experience.
