The Texas Academy of Math & Science Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Residence Hall Director to join our team. This is a live in position inside McConnell Hall. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and two years of residence life, student services, counseling, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:* Considerable knowledge of and ability to apply counseling techniques.* Physical and emotional ability to work long and irregular hours, occasionally involving emotional stress and interrupted sleep.* Knowledge of appropriate safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed.
