University of North Texas Health Science Center - Enrollment Services Specialist
The Enrollment Services Specialist position within the Office of the Registrar will be expected to perform a variety of office functions. They will establish, monitor, maintain, and oversee both the imaged and physical records of students and alumni. They will also assist students, faculty and staff with information requests within all areas of the University. The Enrollment Services Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to:* Explaining policy and procedures to students and other constituents/customers in order to advise them of potential solutions to problems.* Assists in day-to-day student, staff, faculty and alumni requests to include by not limited to enrollment verification/certification letters, transcript requests, contact information changes, add/drop enrollment, withdrawal and leave of absence. * Prepares and maintains Veterans' Affairs/Hazlewood Act Exemption student folders; keep current and accurate record of schedules, transcripts, term account summaries, and degree plans for VA students; updates add/drops, report changes to the VA, maintains veteran-related forms, reports and contracts.* Provides support with student health insurance and immunization requirements.* Handles confidential information with tact, discretion and in compliance with FERPA/HIPPA regulations.* Processes and prepares new student photo rosters for Colleges in collaboration with Campus Police.* Assists in auditing transcripts to ensure degree requirements are in progress or met and report findings.* Promotes diversity within the Office and supports existing University programs, and completes special assignments, tasks and projects as directed.* Supports the Office of Student Affairs by participating/presenting in various institutional functions and organizations as needed.
