Manager - Maintenance Event Center

Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

The Maintenance Event Center Manager is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, repair, and overall condition of the facilities at the Event Center. The Manager will hire, train and supervise a staff to operate equipment, organize event set up and keep facilities and equipment in clean and proper working order.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited intuition with a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or experience related to the summary of duties totaling 4 years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of mechanical operations.
  • Ability to operate light trucks, fork lifts, boom lifts, and stationary equipment.
  • Ability to expend arduous physical effort and to work in conditions involving hazards.
  • Ability to do mechanical repairs.
  • Ability to lead the operational and maintenance elements of an
    entertainment/sporting event facility.
  • Ability to meet and deal professonally with the public.
  • Ability to manage and supervise a staff.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to a diverse group.

Preferred Qualifications:
Journeyman electrician license.

Physical Requirements:
Heavy Lifting and moving objects, long work days, working holidays and flexible work schedule.

Pay Range: $28,730-$38,306
