Nature of Work:
This position will be responsible for the design of marketing and promotional materials to help promote UWG under the Go West brand. This includes but is not limited to brochures, fliers, postcards, posters, web graphics, and other promotional items. This position will create visually compelling work while maintaining brand consistency; work with campus partners as well as outside vendors.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors of Fine Arts degree required or an Associate’s degree and 3+ years’ experience. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required. Must be able to prepare final files for production for printing or electronic submission. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint is also required. Ability to work within a production schedule and meet deadlines. Experience should include strong sense of concept development, in addition to communication, research, problem-solving and use of typography. Must be able to accept design critique and proofing to meet client and university marketing goals – aiming for the highest level of quality and innovation while maintaining brand standards and working within established budget parameters.

Preferred Qualifications    Prefer a concentration in design from a four-year college. 1-2 years of related experience preferred. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite on a MAC platform.

Salary    $17.14 minimum - $22.38 midpoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in a collaborative studio-style office setting. Ability to travel across campus for meetings.
