College of Arts and Sciences Budget & Finance Specialist
The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Dakota invites applications for a Budget and Finance Specialist. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure fiscal stewardship of the College of Arts and Sciences by assuming responsibilities for financial planning and management for the college and its programs. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or a closely related field and three years' experience in a similar position. Master's degree preferred; candidates with other degrees but with equivalent professional experience, particularly in higher education, will be considered. The successful candidate must have the ability to manage diverse administrative functions, have knowledge of accounting principles and be able to make budget projections in a way to allow the college to judiciously manage its fiscal resources. Experience with enterprise wide financial and operational software is a plus.
Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience.
