Position Overview:

The primary purpose of Contract Specialist is to ensure all clinical affiliations are executed according to documented SOP's and facility requirements including clinical rotation information are documented in Clinical Shared Services partner managment systems (Salesforce) to ensure appropriate level of risk and compliance with clinical partners, accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies to support Chamberlain students in their clinical learning process.

    Manages affiliation agreement process from initiation of contract through full execution in accordance with established policy and procedures. This includes working with all stakeholders including Clinical Partners, DeVry Legal, Risk Management, Director of Clinical Shared Services, VP's of Finance and Operations, Clinical Coordination, Managers of Clinical Relations, Practicum Operations and Compliance, Market and Clinical Development teams and MSN Practicum Coordinators to ensure compliance with clinical partners and accreditation. Reviews affiliation agreements according to SOP's to ensure appropriate level of risk, communicates/negotiates where appropriate with Contractual Partner, DeVry Legal, and other relevant Chamberlain stakeholders Communicates to all internal stakeholders in a timely manner to accomplish fully executed contracts and renewals, Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant data as it relates to the contractual relationship in the Clinical Shared Services Management System. Optimizes reporting capabilities for the purpose of providing contract/partner detail information for decision-making, accreditation, clinical partner compliance, leadership decision making, clinical/practicum coordination and contract management metrics. Conducts audits for the purpose of compliance with clinical partners, accreditation, regulatory compliance and facilitation of renewal process. Supports stakeholders on reporting capabilities for the purpose of facilitating student clinical experience.   • Bachelor degree required.
  • Medical terminology background preferred.
  • Compliance experience desired.
  • Experience with contracts, negotiation and understanding of risk is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of database systems is required. A familiarity with a variety of system applications is preferred; and Salesforce.com database experience is a plus.
  • Detail orientated is required.
  • Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed, self-motivated and experience working remote is desired.
