Advertised Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Principal Investigator performs laboratory research models associated with tumor immunology, inflammation, and cancer. Research will be aimed at determining the mechanistic role of inflammation-associated molecules in growth and development of cancer as well as examining the preventative and therapeutic efficacy of plant products. Maintains accurate and detailed records of laboratory experiments, presents findings in laboratory discussions, meetings, scientific symposia, and writes scientific manuscripts for publications. Routinely advises principal investigator, students, and lab personnel on current methods, ongoing experiments, and future research directions.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Requires a PhD in Cancer Immunology, Cancer Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology or other related field of biomedical sciences.
