Assistant Professor - Simulation Lab Educator

The Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, and The University of Vermont Medical Center are seeking to fill one Healthcare Simulation Educator position for the Division of Surgery. Successful applicants will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Education Pathway, commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments, in the Division of EM with direct report to the Chair of Surgery.
Applicants must be a healthcare professional with a minimum of three years of clinical experience. He or she must possess effective training and teaching techniques adaptable to a variety of learning styles with a solid understanding of the principles of simulation. Healthcare Simulation Educator certification from the Society of Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) would be preferred. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position.
Located in Burlington, The University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Medical Center serve as Vermont's only tertiary care academic medical center.
