Overview:

In this role, you will contribute to the institution's quality improvement survey and research analytics initiatives and be responsible for supporting college assessment program efforts related to all aspects of undergraduate and graduate education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of Chamberlain studies that address the critical academic and quality improvement research needs and goals of the college.
  • Conducts detailed literature reviews and contributes to the development of study proposals and methodologies in collaboration with IER research colleagues.
  • Assists in the development and scoring of surveys and interview guides, assuring the application of best practices in the design and scoring of survey/interview items, survey instructions, survey deployment, respondent confidentiality and anonymity, maximizing survey responsiveness, and reduction of potential survey fatigue.
  • Conducts data collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative studies, demonstrating skills in effective utilization of both quantitative and qualitative analyses software.
  • Contributes to the development and writing of study reports and presentation of findings to stakeholders.
  • Develops visually appealing dashboards, scorecards, and PowerPoint presentations to display results of data analyses.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate succinctly key findings of data summaries and reports to academic and operational colleagues.
  • Coordinates and maintains quarterly updates of the IER survey and research schedule calendar ensuring data collection is following accreditation and/or study requirements.
  • Develops and maintains library of IER surveys and research studies.
  • Supports relationships across all Chamberlain departments to ensure that all assessment and evaluation activities are completed as specified.
  • Ensures project efforts remain within approved study budget, timeline, and objectives.
  • Represents IER on assigned multifunctional task forces within and/or across institutions.
  • Helps ensure that program standards and expectations are implemented and met.
  • Supports and maintains a collegial team environment.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

  • Master's degree in education/academic research, market research, or related quantitative discipline. Will consider candidate who will be completing Master's degree within one year of hire.
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in a research setting; experience in an academic research setting is strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, statistics, and interpretation of results.
  • Experience programming surveys with Qualtrics or similar survey utility strongly desired
  • Experience with SPSS required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Proficiency in MicroSoftBI
  • Experience working on research projects from start to successful completion
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation experience, to effectively communicate findings
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills, ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively interact with different organizational levels, including senior leadership
  • Ability to derive insights from research findings and present them in easy-to-understand ways
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
