Dir of Coach Sport Ed Online Master's Program & Open Rank Prof
The University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) is seeking applications for an open rank, full-time, tenure-track faculty member who will serve as Director of the Online Master's Program in Sport Coaching. The Online MA in Sport Coaching was launched in 2015 and has seen striking success. Maintaining this success and developing the program provides significant opportunities for collaboration and innovation. Working with staff and faculty at GSPP and in other departments at DU, the Director oversees all academic and logistical aspects of the program, including curriculum development, budget and planning, hiring and supervising core and adjunct faculty, marketing and recruitment, and representing the program in professional organizations and conferences. Faculty duties include teaching, advising, participating as a core member of the GSPP faculty, and making professional contributions to the field of sport education, including through scholarly research.
- Ph.D. in coaching education or related field.
- Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, applied practice, and professional contribution.
- Experience designing and implementing successful online coaching education programs.
