The Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver is a professional school of international affairs dedicated to preparing students for careers in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. The Josef Korbel School of International Studies seeks to hire a full-time, benefitted Administrative Assistant supporting the Senior Associate Dean. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and welcoming when greeting visitors, faculty, staff and students. This person will maintain mail room, copier/printer room and supply closet, order supplies and supervise work study students and approve bi-weekly time cards and manage other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Dean and/or Assistant Dean of Finance and Operations to support department functions. This person will also be a backup for other staff members on occasion and as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and numerical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and updating website content.
- High School diploma.
- 2 years of work experience in an office setting.
- 1 year of work experience in a customer service setting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3 years of work experience in an office setting.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May require some evenings and weekends as needed.
