Position Summary: The Department of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking board-certified/eligible dermatologists at all career stages to join our team. We are accepting applications for three (3) full-time, fixed-term faculty positions in medical dermatology. UNC Dermatology offers a full range of dermatological patient care with the opportunity to build your practice based on your interests. We have a robust clinical program with four sites, inpatient services, a dermatopathology service, and a clinical trials unit. The applicant must have strong clinical skills and a commitment to academic dermatology with interest and skill in teaching and participating in training of medical students and residents. Education Requirements: Candidate must be an MD, board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology. Position requires that the candidate be able to obtain a medical license in the state of North Carolina and be credentialed to practice medicine at UNC Health Care System.
Qualification and Experience: Applicants should have appropriate teaching skills that will enable them to function successfully in providing education and training experiences for residents and medical students in a major academic/health care environments as well as demonstrated clinical skills.
