Assistant Director of Admissions - Application Processing

Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Admission Processing works as a leader of the Office of Admissions team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all admission materials. The Assistant Director of Admission Processing will report to the Director of Admissions and will support the admission processing team in managing the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Processing unit. The Assistant Director will provide supervision to the Admission Processing team members. The Assistant Director will serve as the team lead for the admissions applications and application communications in the ERP and CRM systems. Duties and Responsibilities: a€¢ Supervise the Admission Processing team members a€¢ Manages day-to-day admission processing operations, including online applications, processing of applicant materials, issuing admissions decisions, deferrals, withdrawals, and other processes. a€¢ Ensures timely completion of unita€™s work. a€¢ Serves as team membersa€™ backup during critical processing periods. a€¢ Maintains efficient departmental workflow and accurate data processing from applications to centralized systems a€¢ Provides documents and generates reports related to the admissions process a€¢ Participates in the development and administration of department policies and procedures as assigned a€¢ Acts as liaison between the Admissions Office, Registrara€™s Office, Financial Services, Financial Aid, and academic colleges a€¢ Assist with on and off campus recruitment activities that involve on the spot admissions a€¢ Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: a€¢ Bachelora€™s degree required a€¢ Minimum of three years progressively responsible work experience related to processing, an area of enrollment management required a€¢ Two or more years of supervisory experience required a€¢ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, experience with Microsoft Office a€¢ Understanding of organization-related issues, computer proficiency in Windows environment appropriate to position; excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills; ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work; mature, professional attitude and appearance; openness to continued learning and upgrading skills a€¢ Minimum of one year experience using Ellucian Colleague or Banner and Recruiter or comparable CRM

Preferred Qualifications: a€¢ Mastera€™s degree strongly preferred a€¢ Ability to apply established policies and procedures a€¢ Experience in additional higher education programs and meeting activities a€¢ Ability to identify priorities, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines a€¢ Strong public speaking skills a€¢ Experience working with graduate and international applicants

Work Schedule: M-F 8:30AM - 5:00PM Evenings and Weekends required
