GRANTS ADMINISTRATOR, School of Medicine, Framingham Heart Study (8975/H1417)
The Framingham Heart Study Center, FHSC, a multi-disciplinary research center, is seeking a grants administrator to manage activities for grants and contracts. Pre-award research activities include preparing federal and non-federal project proposals; investigating requirements for proposal submissions; developing budgets; reviewing budget justifications; preparing, submitting and maintaining all internal proposal documents.
Primary responsibilities include managing the lifecycle of the Framingham Heart study Center’s sponsored programs, which includes processing proposals, award set-up, progress reports, NCEs, carryover requests, etc., It is critical that this individual be well organized and proactive. They must maintain a database for all current studies and their critical due dates, and communicate to PIs in a timely manner.
1-3 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Candidate must also have excellent inter-personal skills and be detail oriented.
