ASSISTANT MANAGER OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (4850/G241
Manage Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Response Education at Boston University. Direct the accredited Emergency Medical Technician courses, CPR and First Aid courses, continuing education programs, and EMTs who provide First Aid coverage for the FitRec Center, Agganis Arena and other special events offered at Boston University. Coordinate Emergency Medical Response programs including Emergency Medical Technician classes at Boston University and other area colleges and universities. Work in conjunction with the Director of Public Safety, Student Health Services, Environmental Health & Safety, and the BU Police Department to ensure general campus safety.
B.A./B.S., and/or 3-5 years in the Emergency Medical Services field, certification as an Emergency Medical Technician in Massachusetts or by the National Registry, certified as a CPR Instructor, certification as an EMT Instructor or EMT I/C preferred.
