Position Description: Recruit and teach well-qualified graduate vocal-performance students and undergraduate singers of all music majors. Additional teaching duties may include vocal pedagogy, diction for singers, or vocal literature (art song and opera). Professional activities in the field of vocal performance and/or vocal pedagogy are expected. (Specific duties will be assigned by Director.)

Required Qualifications

Master of music. Demonstrated ability and success in training voices of all types and developmental levels. Record of significant professional experience in the field of vocal performance and/or vocal pedagogy.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in music, or equivalent in extensive professional experience. Mezzo-soprano, soprano, or bass voice type preferred, but all voice types considered.
