Job Description

Assists in the supervision of the staff and the provision of proper customer services. The ABM will be responsible for the daily operations, opening and closing of the branch as well as internal sales activities. The ABM will work with marketing to coordinate special events in the branch and surrounding market.

Duties:

Oversee day-to-day operations of banking center and staff.

Perform branch management duties including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, promotions, and terminations of direct reports. Monitor quality levels and coach staff to achieve appropriate levels.

Monitor employee activities, assist with problem resolution, and take action to ensure work standards and schedules are maintained.

Supervise all branch operations- managing daily and monthly audits.

Promote positive bank image within the community which may include representing the bank in local organizations and events.

Responsible for assisting in development of sales goals, and in ensuring employees achieve those goals through monthly one on ones.

Disseminates information on procedural and operational changes/updates to branch staff through weekly branch meetings.

Supports sales process through referrals, conducting observations and coaching teller staff.

Partner with every line of business to educate teams on all products and services offered.

Works with corporate support departments to ensure procedural consistency, adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. Will provide back up support to Deposit Ops.

Maintain compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity. Adhere to both internal & external audit requirements.

Must comply with BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and guidelines

Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred or Equivalent Education & work experience • 3+ years retail branch banking management experience • Strong sales skills • Platform and/or Teller Leadership
