Position Description: Recruit and teach well-qualified graduate and undergraduate trumpet students in applied lessons and related courses, such as chamber music. Maintain an active performing career, including faculty chamber performance collaboration. Serve on committees and related duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music.

Required Qualifications

Doctorate in performance, or equivalent achievement as a professional artist and an earned Master of music degree. Successful teaching and significant professional performing experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience recruiting and full-time teaching at the college level. Record of jazz artistry and experience teaching in jazz styles.
