Duties: A position is opening September 2017 for a motivated and detail oriented individual looking for a position as an entry level research specialist. Work will involve both human and murine samples on a project studying the role of non-coding RNAs in T cell development and differention. Duties include mouse handling, multicolor flow cytometry, human and mouse tissue processing and lymphocyte extraction, molecular biology, RNA purification, RTPCR, and tissue culture.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior experience with or fast-paced learning of a broad range of immunology and molecular biology laboratory techniques required. Previous experience with mouse models of infection and non-coding RNAs is preferred. A strong interest in immunology, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and desire to learn new techniques is required. Prior experience in a research laboratory is required.
