Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree in College Student Development or Higher Education Administration Preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Successful candidates will have experience with strategic communication and reporting, content management systems, databases, student academic programs, process improvement, donor stewardship, customer service, and administrative program management.
The Undergraduate Scholarships Program Assistant Director works with fund management, application development, evaluator and committee training, student selection, work-flow process improvements, outreach and communication, donor stewardship, and assessment. This position reports to and is supervised by the Letters & Science Scholarships Officer.
The College of Letters & Science centralized undergraduate scholarships program is comprised of over 80 funds that generate approximately 1.5 million dollars annually and fund over 300 awards each year. The Scholarships Office also supports Letters & Science departments as needed with scholarships policies and processes. The College of Letters & Science is a campus leader in scholarship fund stewardship.
