ASL and/or Deaf Studies Adjunct Professor
Teach ASL and/or Deaf Studies classes including ASL 120, ASL 121, ASL 122 and/or ASL 123. Classes will likely be offered during evening hours.
Education: Bachelor's Degree and ASLTA Certification or Master's Degree in an ASL related degree (ASL and/or Deaf Studies, Teaching of ASL or ASL Teaching, Sign Language Education, ASL/English Interpreting, or Deaf Education)
Special Skills: Self-starter, strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated understanding of adult learning.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Previous community college teaching experience preferred.
- Familiarity and experience with Vista's Signing Naturally Curriculum
- Familiarity and experience with Learning Management System software such as D2L or Brightspace.
At least 2 years of teaching experience at educational settings
