Advertised Job Summary
As a Program Manager in the Division of Information Technology – Managed Services organization this position is the primary operational contact with the Managed Services providers and oversees the implementation of all phases of Managed Services projects taking into account customer priorities, internal resources and supplier schedules to effectively provide for Program Managed services. Specifically, the PeopleSoft Systems Program Manager is responsible for the implementation, evolution, and maintenance of the PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll Program. This position is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between Division of Information Technology (DoIT) and the Division of Human Resources ensuring that development and support activities are clearly aligned with their priorities and strategic goals. The program manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver solutions to customers, using the appropriate business measurements and requirements, for setting program standards, planning, tracking, change control, risk management and customer communication.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Master's degree in business related field and 4 years related program management experience, or bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Bachelor's degree in business related field and program management experience. Must be a consensus-builder with a high degree of emotional intelligence and organizational awareness. Must possess skills in planning, assigning, and supervising the work of others and communicating effectively. Must be able to teach in classroom environment in area of expertise on an as needed basis. Must be able to work with senior University executives to understand the mission, goals and objectives of the University.
