Advertised Job Summary
The position performs the administrative responsibilities associated with the administration of departmental scholarships, including the management of the appropriate sections of the departmental scholarship administrative software (currently AcademicWorks) and selects recipients for scholarships overseen by the Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee (SFAC.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree and financial aid administrative experience preferredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to learn and maintain thorough knowledge of federal/state/office/other-related law, regulations, policies, procedures, and practices required for responsible and compliant administration of particularly those programs it has direct responsibilities for, but also for all of the programs and services provided by the Office. Ability to provide responsible discretionary judgment in providing service; ability to establish and maintain professional relationships; and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse service population. A successful candidate will be organized, possess leadership capabilities, communication and public relations skills, and a high professional energy level.
