The UK Healthcare clinical laboratory provides high quality state of the art services in Chemistry, Microbiology, Toxicology, Blood Bank, Flow Cytometry, Immunomolecular Pathology, Genomics, Cytogenetics, Cell Therapy, & Histology. Dedicated staff in laboratory information systems, quality and compliance, compliment an exceptional team of laboratory professionals dedicated to providing excellence in laboratory services. The laboratory has an annual billable test volume of 4.1 million and was recently titled national 2nd runner up for 2016 Laboratory of the Year by Medical Laboratory Observer. The UK Health System is accredited by CAP, AABB, ASHI, FDA, TJC, and FACT.

Required Related Experience

MLS (ASCP) or MT (ASCP)
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to regularly move about inside and outside the office to access office machinery, attend meetings, etc.
Monday - Friday days
Expertise in fiscal management, strategic planning, process flow design and operational improvements, possesses vision, executive presence, skilled in employee relations, a motivator.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
Progressive experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a high volume, large, high complexity CAP accredited laboratory. Experienced in an academic/teaching hospital and MBA or MHA highly desired.
