COMMUNICATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST, School of Law (4959/H1117)
Plan and coordinate events, execute external communications plans, and provide administrative support for a grant-funded global R&D partnership for antibiotics (CARB-X). Plan and coordinate outreach events, meetings, and educational programming. Contribute to content creation and design for global communications, including website, power points, data visualization and social media/press release materials. Coordinate the execution of communication plans. Provide administrative support to the CARB-X team. Act as the primary administrative point of contact for CARB-X including support for consultants and sub-award recipients with administrative and budget processes. This is a full-time, 35 hour per week position, grant funded for up to four years, located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in communications or related field preferred. Requires three to five years in an administrative setting with responsibilities in communications and event planning. Must have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and exceptional attention to detail required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Exposure to graphic design software (Canva) preferred. Must be able to work independently based on broad direction.
