Marketing Specialist (#37022)
Job Description: Increase the visibility of the College of Arts and Humanities and School of Performing Arts by creating, managing, and distributing compelling, timely, and accurate editorial content.
Write press releases and stories, and produce videos, photos, and other digital content for the College of Arts and Humanities and School of Performing Arts.
Schedule and post editorial content on social media, facebook, and with other university channels.
Organize summer camp logistics for the School of Performing Arts.
Social media maintenance and posting for the College of Arts and Humanities and its departments/schools.
Represent School of Performing Arts and College of Arts and Humanities at the University and community.
Coordination of email newsletter system.
Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. If minimum requirements of the position do not require post high school education, an applicant is not required to provide the information on the application.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Oral, written, and computer skills at a professional level.
Knowledge of and experience using AP style.
Experience managing social media for brands using Facebook, twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and scheduling and insight tools.
Experience using WordPress.
Experience creating videos with a mobile phone.
Education or experience working in the arts or humanities.
