Student Services Assistant I/II-Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for providing prompt, courteous and accurate customer service to students and parents at any of the AACC campuses. The FA Assistant collects and screens paperwork for completion prior to delivery to the appropriate office staff member for review and processing. This position provides general clerical support to the Financial Aid Office.

Salary Range: $28,055-$38,234
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of one year of relevant experience for Assistant I and three years of relevant experience for Assistant II including customer service experience and the ability to tactfully deal with a diverse population of students and parents.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the office.
Experience with Ellucian Colleague and Perceptive Content.
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 plus occasional Saturdays
