Essential functions of this position:
The position oversees budget management, budgetary aspects of event planning, report writing, summarizing and reconciling information or financial data, records and personnel administration for all entities under the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion (OIDI). The position supports programmatic areas for all OIDI units (Upperman African American Cultural Center, Centro Hispano, and the LGBTQIA Resource Office). This position disseminates information to various staff as well as reconcile financial data, summarize, reconcile and make projections, data analysis and records management related to OIDI. This position supervises at least one work study/work assist student.
N.C. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the essential functions of the position:
Ability to disseminate information to various professional positions as well as reconcile financial data, summarize, reconcile and make projections, data analysis and records management related to these units.
Specialized knowledge of diversity and inclusion as well as demonstrated experience working with diverse and underrepresented populations
