CLINICAL RESEARCH COORD A
Duties: This position is for a clinical research coordinator who will provide support and collect data for a research study examining a computer-based intervention for children with autism in Philadelphia public schools. The clinical research coordinator (CRC) is needed to provide support with quantitative and qualitative data collection, management of study documentation, overseeing and managing data entry, database management, initial data analysis, managing 2-3 undergraduate student workers, IRB documentation and submissions, participant recruitment and retention, and facilitating and maintaining positive working relationships with collaborators. Position is contingent on continued funding.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Education with 1-3 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Previous experience working in urban schools or interacting with families of children with developmental disabilities in educational or direct care settings is desired. Previous experience in a research environment is preferred. The candidate should be proficient computer programs including MS Office and maintaining databases. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential. He/She should be comfortable doing a variety of tasks, be able to balance multiple commitments, and be comfortable communicating to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently and with a team.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass a PA Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting. Must pass Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment.
