Advertised Job Summary: Job Duties Include: Recruitment: Responsible for processing hiring and on-boarding transactions within the College, including preparing documentation for: position establishment, job postings, and the COE search process. Documents all transactions through formal or informal measures, and as necessary, secures the proper approvals. Completes tasks in accordance with the College and University HR-related policies and procedures. Employee Relations: Processes documentation for faculty and staff changes including reclassifications/title changes, salary actions, temporary or special pay, updating position descriptions, FTE changes, leaves of absence, retirements, and terminations. Ensures accuracy of documentation by taking into consideration offer letter commitments & cost sharing requirements. Documents all transactions through formal or informal measures, and as necessary, secures the proper approvals. Completes tasks in accordance with the College and University HR-related policies and procedures. HR Data Management: Utilizes various databases and electronic filing systems to maintain personnel records and supporting documentation as needed. Other: Contribute to College efforts by performing other related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency.
