Job Description: As a full-time, non-tenure track, fixed-term faculty position at the title of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher in the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies, duties will include teaching (90% of FTE) undergraduate and graduate courses and service to include student advisement and membership and leadership in the academic and professional communities (10% of FTE). Teaching load will include four courses during fall semesters, four courses during spring semesters, and two courses during summer semesters. Position will be assigned to support the Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitation Services program.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Counseling from a CACREP accredited program, or a doctoral degree in a closely related field and one year full time experience as a faculty in a counselor education program. Three years of full time experience providing direct counseling services. Ability to use learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard) and word processing. Possession of or eligibility for NC licensure as a Professional Counselor. Possession of or eligibility for national certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor, or possession of or eligibility for NC licensure as a Clinical Addictions Specialist.
