The Research Associate will be responsible for working closely with the PI to develop scientific research projects in the area of cancer. They will also be involved in coordinating day-to-day management and administration of research studies, including team communications, financial management, protocol and questionnaire development, progress reports, and coordination with subcontract project sites. Experience in literature review, IRB submission, and manuscript development is required. Knowledge and experience in quantitative research and data analysis is preferred. This role requires reviewing and conducting literature reviews, data analyses as well as researching and developing research tools and methodologies. There is ample opportunity for co-authorship on manuscripts and presentation of research at national conferences. An MPH with at least 2 years experience in epidemiology or healthcare research is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for extended periods of time; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, walking between campus buildings for meetings.


Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be needed during peak times.


Proficiency in MS Office applications, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team. Strong problem solving skills.
