Research Assistant (Anatomy & Physiology)
General Description of Position: The Department of Anatomy & Physiology with the College of Veterinary Medicine is hiring a full-time term Research Assistant/Associate. The successful applicant will work on research projects to develop and/or source veterinary clinical skills training materials with experts inside and outside Kansas State University, including veterinarians, audio/video staff and IT groups. This individual will also work with the PI to conduct a literature search on specific technical subjects. - Work with the PI to conduct literature search on specific technical subjectsRequired Minimum Qualifications: Research Assistant - A bachelor’s degree in animal science, veterinary technical training or related sciences
Research Associate - A master’s degree in Biology or related sciences and two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of one year of animal work experience.
Preference will be given to those with experience in one of the following areas: working in a veterinary clinic or swine farms. The successful applicant should be highly motivated and independent with excellent communication and organizational skills.
