The Assistant Director works with the Campus Ministry staff and students to provide programs and services that encourage the spiritual growth and development of Marymount's students. Reporting to the Director of Campus Ministry, coordinates the planning and implementation of programming, retreats, and outreach for the Office of Campus Ministry. The Assistant Director supports the work of the University Chaplain with Liturgy and Sacramental offerings and planning. This role calls for mentoring and advising. The Assistant Director oversees the Women of Faith Residence Hall Living and Learning Community. The position may supervise student employees.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree.
- Two to three years related experience and/or training.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, the ability to work as part of a team, the ability to multitask, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree completed from an accredited, four-year college or university.

Job Duties

Responsibility / Duty

Coordinate the planning of once per semester student retreats with input from the Director. Organize monthly outreach events and outings for the campus community, includes campus game nights, after Mass socials, and weekly sporting events. Oversight includes appropriate budget planning and promotion of events.

Responsibility / Duty

Scheduling, planning, promotion, and implementation of all campus liturgies including Sunday, weekday, and special Masses, weekly Praise and Worship/Adoration, and Penance Services.

Percent of total time 15

Responsibility / Duty

Meet with several female members of the Campus Ministry Student Leadership Team for one-on-one for spiritual mentorship and assist in the overall formation of the team.

Responsibility / Duty

As the staff adviser, guide and mentor students associated with student clubs. Collaborate with OCRS on the work of the Women of Faith Resident Assistant.

Responsibility / Duty

Assist and support other staff members with coordination of service events including but not limited to: HalloweenFest, Alternative Spring Break Trips, monthly service, and holiday drives. Collaborate in the promotion and advertising of the Office of Campus Ministry's programs and services to the campus community.

Perform other duties as assigned including assisting with office and University assessment and budget planning.
