Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Performing protein purification, biochemical and cell biology experiments to understand the underlying mechanisms of genome instability, particularly that arise during DNA replication and repair.

Required Education and Experience

PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Previous experience with FPLC protein purification, EMSAs, purification of anitbodies, immunoprecipitation, human cell culture (protein expression and depletion, transfection, cell growth), molecular cloning and fluorescence microscopy. Related knowledge and experience in studying DNA replication, DNA repair and/or genome instability. Strong organization and presentation skills are also required.
