Program Coordinator



This position will be integral to the coordination of workshops and trainings for the College of Social Work's Office of Professional Development and Continuing Education (OPDCE). This position will serve as the primary point of contact for OPDCE customers, technical issues, vendors, and presenters. This position will coordinate, plan, and execute professional development and continuing education workshops and trainings and manage the event budget. The person in this position will attend/facilitate all trainings/workshops/conferences for the OPDCE program. The employee in this position will manage social media pages for the OPDCE, determine target audiences and research contacts.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods of time; performing repetitive motion tasks. Lifting/Pushing/Pulling up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs. Job-related travel.

Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Evening and weekend work will be required



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Driver's license preferred due to regular travel to/from workshops/conferences/trainings.
