Advertised Job Summary
Provides administrative support to Women and Gender Studies (WGST) Program. Coordinate office processes. Duties will vary from greeting visitors, to ordering supplies, to maintaining listservs, and any other office related issues that arise. In coordination with the Program Director and budget staff, will initiate financial transactions including reimbursements, travel, payment requests, requisitions. Will hire, supervise, and train work study students. In consultation with the Director, will prepare and enter scheduled classes. Prepare, monitor and maintain hiring documents. Coordinate the newsletter and special events to include financial transactions and media. Assist with maintaining WGST website. Provide assistance and guidance to faculty and staff related to administrative coordination to ensure compliance with federal, state, and University policies and procedures. Contribute to the overall success of the Women's and Gender Studies Program by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma with 4 years related experience in business management or administrative services or related field required.
Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience in business management or administrative services or related field is preferred.
