Responsible for enforcing the parking regulations of the university, assisting motorists, and securing the safety of students, faculty, and staff.
Patrol all 7 floors of the Library on a continual basis. Handle patron complaints. Enforce library policies such as noise restriction. Work cooperatively with library staff to resolve facility and patron issues. Carry out established procedure for emergency situations. Report all problems through appropriate channels.

Must have a valid Texas Driver’s and be a driver in good standing with less than ten (10) points deducted for driving infractions as determined by the Texas State University driving standards system. A driving record check will be performed on the selected applicant.
Fall & Spring Semester (August & May) to work schedule and hours are 3:30 to 8:30 pm on Friday, 2:30 to 7:30 pm on Saturday, and 5:30 pm to 3:30 am on Sunday. Hours vary during midterms, finals, interim periods and on holidays.
Summer Sessions (June to August) work schedule and hours are 1:30 to 5:30 pm on Friday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on Saturday, and 3:30 to 11:30 pm on Sunday.
