Business Analyst – Lead, Registrar - #603322

Northern Arizona University’s Registrar’s Office is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) Lead to be part of the leadership team, responsible for the centralization of the Academic Affairs BAs under the Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs.  The BA Lead will directly supervise a team of three to four BA’s/BA SRs, including hiring and evaluating performance. The successful candidate will provide administrative system leadership for Academic Affairs, and will also be called upon to support the Registrar’s Office where the use of our LOUIE (Oracle/PeopleSoft) student administration system is involved.  The BA Lead will also provide project leadership for cross-unit projects of a complex scope that require BA involvement (e.g., special university projects, upgrades, university-wide initiatives, etc.).  This requires the ability to collaborate and communicate across all levels of the enterprise. The person in this position will be a member of the Enterprise Business Analyst Team (NAU’s cross-divisional team of Oracle/PeopleSoft BAs) and serve as a technical liaison between the Registrar’s Office, other units affected by Oracle/PeopleSoft Student Records and Academic Advising functionality, and Information Technology Services.  The BA Lead will work with various processing offices and the Enterprise Business Analyst Team to recommend, design, and implement business solutions involving enterprise system technology. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of demonstrated experience in college/university business process work, which includes four years of experience in procedural, technical, management, or systems analysis work related to Oracle/PeopleSoft HRMS and/or Student Administration systems; or nine years of procedural, technical, management, or systems analysis work, which includes at least two years of supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of directly related experience, training and/or education.

Annual Salary: $82,997 to $98,000
