Classification Title: Registrar Analyst

Nature of Work:
This position directly collaborates with UWG’s Information Technology Services (ITS) department to coordinate, plan, support, and execute Registrar related IT projects. The position will serve as lead administrator for ARGOS, have primary duties for testing BANNER system updates and provide backup for the Degree Works software. The management also includes being the lead participant in integrating and testing new initiatives at UWG and those mandated by the USGsystem. As the need arises, the position will initiate additional Registrar IT related projects. Other duties include conducting training sessions on Registrar processes to faculty, staff and students and working at all Commencement ceremonies.
Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of one year of related experience required. Strong problem solving abilities required. Proven ability to assess business processes and develop improvement plans, as well as experience developing test plans required.
Two years of experience supporting applications preferred. Experience in Banner preferred. Knowledge of ARGOS and SQL also a plus. Experience in Banner preferred. Knowledge of ARGOS and SQL also a plus.
Salary $17.76/hrly (minimum) to $25.07/hrly (midpoint)

Must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time.
