Job Description

PM Design Group, Inc. is an architectural design and project management firm serving top national retail, restaurant and commercial clients.

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced AutoCAD Drafter with building and as-built survey experience. The candidate will be responsible for measuring existing buildings and using the latest tablet technology to collect data and create drawings.

*** Candidate must be able to travel for short and extended periods in and out of state.

***We have several openings for this position - some will be a regular positions and some temporary assignments.

Qualifications:

Experience drafting construction/architectural drawings using AutoCAD 2014 and 2015

Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data. Lay out and plan interior room arrangements for commercial buildings

Requirements:
2 - 3 years of building survey or construction experience (land surveyors will not be considered)
5 solid years using AutoCAD
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook and other applications
Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and meet deadlines consistently.
Must be a team player and willing to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic, creative environment.
Good listener, able to take and follow directions.
