Nature of Work:
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, this Admissions Representative position is primarily responsible for recruiting, communicating and maintaining personalized contact with a unique population of incomplete transfer and all readmissions applicants. This includes counseling them on how to complete their admissions file and helping them overcome various roadblocks to their enrollment. On a semester to semester basis, the position will also be required to independently monitor and develop recruitment and follow-up initiatives with transfer and readmission applicants, paying particularly close attention to readmission and transfer applicant goals and benchmarks to continually adjust and improve the overarching processing and communication plan with these population of applicants.
A minimum of 1/3 of the position’s time will be spent completing data-entry and maintenance of a population of applicants utilizing the Banner Student Information System and ERecruiter, to include: entering transfer and readmission applications, processing and entering transfer and readmission applicant decisions, and calculating transfer and readmission GPAs, all considered part of the effort to enroll students. The role will additionally be responsible for serving transfer and readmission students in a face-to-face capacity by being on hand to talk to walk-in prospective applicants and respond to individual questions via telephone and email.
Other job duties as assigned by the Associate Director/Assistant Director of Admissions Operations are possible.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. At least two years of experience in a customer service position is required. Experience in data entry and keyboarding is required. Experience with providing excellent customer service and handling the various complexities involved in a high volume office setting is preferred. At least one year experience utilizing Banner within a higher education setting is highly preferred. Applicants must be able to multitask in a fast-paced office environment with the ability to pay close attention to detail and prioritize important responsibilities.
    
Salary    $14.48 minimum - $17.85 midpoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Normal office setting. Long periods of sitting may be required.
