Summary of Duties:
The Alternate Testing Services Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a professional testing center by supervising, managing, and coordinating the activities and functions of the alternate testing program within the Access Center; and ensuring the timely and effective provision of accommodations for qualified students with disabilities in accordance with Access Center/WSU and state and federal guidelines and regulations. Primary responsibilities include: managing the daily operations of the Access Center Testing Center; providing technical and educational assistance to faculty, staff and students to ensure effective accommodation and equal access and inclusion for students with disabilities; and recruiting, hiring, training and supervising volunteer and paid staff to assist in completing tasks associated with programs. Supports Access Center Front Office functions as back up to Access Center Office Administrator.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
