About the Job

This individual will be responsible for supporting our data collection and tracking technology software (RFID, Barcode, GPS). This individual will learn how these systems integrate with our products and how we leverage them to optimize the logistics of the supply chain. This individual will also become familiar with hardware procurement, inventory management and support related to our customer facing technology solutions. This is full time position of 40 hours a week and will also require participation in an On-call rotation.

Outlined Responsibilities
  • Support
    • Provide level 1 and 2 technical support for client facing applications in a given region
    • Resolve internal/external client technical and operational problems
    • Track and document client issues in Desk.com
    • Update internal and published support documentation
    • Support field engineers for installs and validation of software
    • Query SQL databases to determine data integrity issues
    • Create semi complex Database queries to assist in troubleshooting
    • Able to Create and modify SQL server and Force.com reports
    • Troubleshoot communication layer (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Network)
    • Troubleshoot and Print RFID/Barcode labels
    • Maintain database of RFID/Barcode Tag values
    • Provide feedback to support manager to enable continuous improvement
  • Installation and Procurement
  • Setup and configure new customers on our proprietary software
  • Work with project managers and business analyst to implement technical solutions
  • Receive equipment and inventory into central repository
  • Install and configure necessary firmware or software for various devices
  • Handheld computers, Tablets, RFID fixed and mobile readers
  • Testing
    • Assist with testing new software releases
    • Assist with software User acceptance testing efforts

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Relational databases and database queries
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and IIS
  • Exposure to Force.com platform
  • Box.com, Desk.com, SharePoint knowledge a plus
  • Creative Problem Solving ability for software and hardware
  • Excellent Time Management
  • Ability to work independently , multitask and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new concepts and technologies
  • Degree or certificate in Management Information Systems or Information Technology related field is preferred
  • Ability to travel to travel up 15%
