Reports To: Principal & Regional Finance Team
Distinguishing Features of Work: Responsible for the overall financial and administrative operation of the school. This position works very closely with the principal, faculty and staff and Regional Team. Periodically with the Board of Directors.
- Responsible for all accounting (A/P, A/R, payroll, Full cycle bookkeeping and reporting), purchasing and procurement operations of the school
- Develop and administer policies and procedures for the business office
- Prepare and monitor the school's budget and grants
- Administer administrative contracts (i.e. copier, telephone), insurance and personnel benefits program
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field; preferably business administration or accounting
Experience: 3-5 years accounting or business manager work experience; preferably in an educational setting
Knowledge, Ability & Skills: Needs strong organizational skills and attention to detail; a passion for producing exceptional, high quality work and for ongoing personal learning and development; proficiency in MAS 500 accounting system, Microsoft Office applications, and the Windows operating system.
