ASSISTANT PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR
Duties: Co-develop with Practice Administrator and implement a strategic plan to enhance dental practices and client base. Co-manage all staff, plan assign and audit work.
Support the financial and budgetary function of dental practice. Manage claims, process/collection of patient billing. Manage client relations. General administration of dental practice includes: Responsible for the overall planning, management, implementation and coordination of dental services. Ensure that patient flow is efficient, well coordinated and enhances productivity. Ensure that communication with other program staff and other people involved in the care of the patients is appropriate and timely. Maintain high visibility amongst Doctors, Staff and Patients. Support and share the University and Penn Dental mission statement and plan of vision.
Qualifications: An Associate's Degree or two year college equivalant and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Proficiency with Dentrix required. Excellent interpersonal skill; ability to interact professionally among patients, staff and faculty; excellent organization and detail-oriented skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required; previous experience in a healthcare environment required.
