Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Preferred specialization in communications, natural resources, education or a related area.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Relevant work experience in communications, outreach, event planning or a related area preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication is required. Willingness to learn new technologies is required. Proficiency in presentation software, databases to support marketing efforts, and the use of social media for communications is a plus. Must be willing to work independently and also in collaboration with others.

Title prefix will be determined based on candidate qualifications at the time of offer.



Position Summary:

The Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology seeks a motivated and energetic individual to assist in alumni and donor relations and promoting programs and activities. Key tasks include external communications via print and news media, working collaboratively with faculty and students on content, and coordinating events.
